Boy we sure have been busy around here. Once the rain left we got busy on all the outdoor stuff.
Garden bed #1 ready, check.
Flower beds weeded and flowers moved, checked.
Two new veggie patches tilled and amended, check.
Laundry on the line, check.
Spring here in all it's green and flowering goodness, check!
Chickens happy and growing, check.
A lovely Mother's Day gift, check.
A spring surprise, check.

What a beautiful covered porch you have! I can just see hot afternoons spent in the shade on your new porch swing, drinking tangy lemonade...heavenly!
Those are beautiful new veggie beds you've prepped. Do you not have any veggie eating critters around, like deer? My garden plots have to be surrounded with 7 foot deer netting! lol
love the garden lookin good and the swing looks like i nice place to curl up with a good book.
Danni: Hey thanks. That porch was on the have to have list when we designed and built. I'm lovin my swing, I go out almost every morning when the boys walk down to the bus. Sippin my coffee enjoying the early morning sounds.
Oh we have critters, hopefully our lab, Butter will help keep them at bay. I also go out and spray a mixture all over and that seems to help.
